‘God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think’ Ephesians 3:20
This promise and many more promises from the Bible have been fulfilled. As God have taken a fleeting thought, a tiny vision and established HIS plans for the women through the Connect Conference … PROMISE KEEPER, MIRACLE WORKER, these are the words I could not stop saying through the week leading up to the conference.
Even from the embryonic stage through to the planning and organising stages of this event, we have individually and collectively experienced GOD’S presence, HIS provision and GRACE all along!
We have envisaged 50 attendees, or maybe 60, and there were 84 registrations, with 81 attending on the day. It was a beautiful day weather wise. We promised to deliver ‘day spa for the soul’ and God enabled that to happen, evident in the initial feedback we received from the attendees – how they felt refreshed, care for and that they ‘felt like they were walking on air at the end of the day!’
‘This is the LORD’S doing and it is marvellous in our eyes’ Psalm 118:23-24
We particularly wish to acknowledge the support we received from the men of WPUC; in many and varied ways. We are thankful for the support of our congregation as we humbly ask for your ongoing prayers for God’s work to continue beyond this conference and that every woman who stepped into this space would continue to be a vessel that God would use for HIS kingdom work.
